One notable example is senior student Zhuang Xie-Xuan, who earned the title of "Fo Guang Finance Certification Champion" after obtaining an impressive 17 financial certifications during her four years of study, setting a new departmental record.

Zhuang shared that her aspiration to work in the finance industry motivated her to view obtaining professional certifications as an essential step to demonstrating her expertise. She meticulously planned her certification journey with guidance from Professor Chen Jiang-Ping, starting her efforts in the first semester of her freshman year.
Her strategy involved leveraging course content for foundational knowledge while concurrently studying for certification exams to deepen her understanding of practical regulations. She dedicated time in her dormitory to practicing test question banks and utilized the department’s resources and incentives to fuel her determination.
Among her many achievements, Zhuang successfully earned certifications such as Bank Internal Control and Auditing, Trust Business Professional Competency, Securities and Futures Advanced Specialist, Investment Trust and Advisory Regulations, and various insurance-related credentials. Zhuang expressed that earning certifications not only boosted her confidence but also solidified her professional expertise in finance.
